Date nights that seem like never ending fun are always the memorable ones! Columbus is a great city to experience and try new places with someone special and here are some ideas I’d highly recommend:
16-Bit Bar + Arcade and Dirty Franks Hot Dog Palace
Hit up some arcade games and grab a drink! They have a huge selection of craft beers, cocktails, and bourbons! Even if you’re not good at games (like me), it’s always a fun time! Dirty Franks is right next door, so it’s a great place to grab a hot dog before or after the arcade. With over 30 hot dog combinations to choose from, there will always be something delicious! My favorites are the Chicago or Amy’s Big Boston Dog.
Sidebar 122 and Studio 614
Sidebar 122 is perfect for both a casual night out or special event. Order a lamb shank with saffron parmesan risotto in the dining area for a memorable evening out or grab tapas from the bar area! With perfectly priced cocktails and delicious tapas, the night won’t go wrong. I highly suggest trying the spicy potatoes or tomato and goat cheese dip!
After delicious food and drinks, grab a brush and paint with Studio 614. Make sure to book ahead and try painting the Columbus skyline or the Short North! All materials and tools are provided, so just bring the creativity and your date!
Wolf’s Ridge Brewing + Tap Room
WRB‘s plating and presentation alone will wow your date. A wide variety of entrees like duck breast or pork shank will have you hungry just reading the menu. Vegetarian? They’ve got you covered with butternut squash risotto. Craft beer lovers can check out their Tap Room in the back right after dinner!
